To help capture one million tonnes of carbon dioxide annually.
To increase stored carbon. To reduce reliance on synthetic inputs. To reduce the use of fossil fuels.
We call it 'waste for good' and our purpose is to create a lower carbon New Zealand.
By-product from primary industries is going into landfill at a huge cost financially and to the environment.
At the same time chemically dominant fertiliser is going into our land, also at a huge cost to the environment.
At The Green Circle we aim to solve these two issues by upcycling waste streams with proprietary science and engineering to create carbon-based products that we return back to the local ecosystem.
The amount of carbon captured and returned is independently verified. Additionally, throughout the process, we also generate significant green energy that can be used to replace less clean fuel sources.
